The first step towards curing a disease is to accept that there is a disease. Every now and then, we talk about crimes against women that leave us horrified. But what we don’t acknowledge is that there are always smaller issues that add up to that horrific and earth shattering crime.

With this collection of poems, the author’s vision was to identify the issues in our conservative society that turns a blind eye towards the one half of its population, and to just bring these topics out on the discussion table. If nothing, she hopes this book will be a voice for our fellow women around the globe.
